CONFLICTSWhy we should not overtly topple the TalibanMon, 24 Sep 2001 If the imminent military campaign in Afghanistan stated objective is to topple the Taliban regime, then we will be involved in a prolonged guerrilla war with their more radical elements for years to come. ---But this is asymmetrical warfare, in which the size of the adversary is to his advantage. If we state that the objective is the surrender of the regime, then, even if we achieve a formal surrender of their military and political state apparatus, we will have formed the base for a prolonged guerrilla Jihad for years to come.

ECONOMICSA New Global CurrencyMon, 10 Nov 2008 What the world needs now is not another bailout, we need to use this potentially extreme financial calamity to come to a new global financial accord. We need to define a single global currency, a supra-national entity similar to the Euro but at a global scale, that can be used as a basis for all international transactions. This new global currency (call it *G) would be used to settle all international transactions... The *G's value will not vary over time, because it exists in a political and marco-economic vacuum.

ECOLOGYA World Of NeedsThu, 08 Dec 1994 How agonizing it is to see the condition we are in today. The vast majority of the World's People go hungry and live in squalor, while enclaves of wealth thrive under the cybernetic fountain of money in the USA. The Earth is being decimated by the dual excess of both wealth and poverty. ... If we don't clearly conceptualize the problem, we will eventually ruin this precious space biosphere beyond it's capacity for regeneration. Sadly, the People continue to get placebo politics which obfuscates Reality. Why must we go on misleading the People?

TECHNOLOYA Convergent ITV ParadigmMon Jan 18, 2008 As with any paradigm, once it is known, it's a case of "why didn't we think of that before?". If we want convergent TV, i.e. Interactive Televison (ITV), all we need to do is to merge the content of public television, as delivered by cable, wireless or satellite in IP packets, with the content that the viewer will see on the TCP/IP port for the same WAN IP subnet.

CULTUREMoney for Money's SakeMon Aug 17, 1994 That which is most optimized in our Western culture is the advancement of the accumulation of money. Without this activity the entire culture would take on a different aspect. If life and the optimization of the values of Life were the object of our "game", then we would see an Earth in harmony with itself and with it's inhabitants.

POLITICSRepent America!Wed, 29 Oct 2008 Make no mistake about it, we are at a moral crossroad in the USA today. This election must be an act of moral contrition and repentance. We may not like either of the candidate's political images, but we must vote for real change and repent from our past mistakes as a People, We must return to the moral center from where our nation was founded and away from the financial corruption and warmongering of the Republicans.
